Re: Sad news...



I think JR was probably the person I sent more blank Cds to than anyone else in 
the world. there was a period of time toward the turn of the century that I was 
just racking shows up from him, and He was more than happy to burn away for me, 
great guy, we talked on the phone only once, but I remember it having been like 
2 old friends rather than a couple of strangers that only had contact via email 
for years. 
Great guy, extremely gracious and eager to share the music, the world lost a 
good one.

I remember him when I first joined FBO those many years ago as a frequent 
poster who often generously offered to provide
 CDRs of shows to newbies, etc., back when we had to things that way.  A sad 
loss for the FBO family.
