Re: runnin' with the devil

Pauly,

The five notes in the run to which you are referring at 0:46 and 0:51 are C
C# E F# A. It's min3, Maj3, Perf5, Maj6, Root. So in the key of E, it's G G#
B C# E, which is essentially what Jimmy plays repeatedly between 3:04 and
3:18 of this "Boogie Mama" clip (albeit sped up to sound as if it's a half
step higher).

Anyway, love this Comets video, Pauly! Franny's grandkid wrote a comment on
YouTube. I'll have to get my high school classmate to write a comment too as
her grandfather was a Comets drummer at one point, yet another
southcentral/southeastern Pennsylvania contribution to the birth of rock 'n'
roll. I doubt that's he in the video, but you never know!

Best,
Steve "The Lemon"
