As you say, FLACs are bigger. I've got an 80GB iPod crammed full of tons of
songs and videos and stuff. I've got something like six or so Zeppelin shows
on there now. It's a lot more space-efficient to rip the FLACs into 320k
mp3's. There's no real difference between those kinds of mp3s and FLAC files
to my ears... as if it would matter all that much on my car speakers anyway.
