I think that outer box is just to hold the inner box and T-shirt together, 
that is where the proof of purchase is that you need to send in if you 
want the poster. Once you open it, the T-shirt is inside along with a box 
that contains two booklets, one with the DVD's and the other with the 
photos and articles, as long as that box isn't damaged it should be fine.
