I *think* Brian Eno and a reformed 'Roxy Music' may have played at the
more "public" funeral / tribute that was held after the private family
funeral for Syd.
This could be the reference to Brian Gillepsie:
"British rockers BOBBY GILLESPIE, PETE DOHERTY and CARL BARAT have
joined in the tributes to former PINK FLOYD frontman SYD BARRETT, who
died earlier this month (07JUL06)."
I don't ever recall Page taking part in any musical tribute to Syd...but
maybe he made a quote about admiring his work or something around the
time of his death.

I can't imagine it going beyond that. Bowie did a Barrett-era Floyd
song ("See Emily Play") on his album "Pin-Ups" (that was like, '72-73,
yeah?) but generally I think this article is bullshit.
