I'm not sure if I would necessarily make *all* trees SHN because not
everyone has high-speed connections. Maybe when the tree organizer is
sending out invites to add a section if you want to be a branch using
SHN.
That would allow the cable and dsl users to to it via FTP and those
with
dial-up to use the current method of snail mail.

I wholeheartedly approve, and second the motion. In fact we should be
continuing the standard set by Zeppelin Digital, and being used in
other
trading communities, and running *all* trees in SHN format,
regardless of
whether someone has the space to make them available for download.
Even if
no
FTP server option is included and it's a traditional thru-the-mail
tree, the
advantages of SHN are too good to ignore.
Decompressing SHNs and burning audio discs is also faster than
DAE'ing,
checking, and burning...
