Guys:
This is a VERY HUGE set of shows...I spent the weekend submerged in
these two shows and they are WONDERFUL. Keeping in mind the sound
quality at times is just a little shaky (considering the social
climate in and out of the venues...were those tapers in Dublin
absurdly waisted or what?), the band is tight and right on time.
There is only one serious flaw in the sets...during the Belfast
show.....but it's well overshadowed. They were definitely on their
game at all points...and Plants vocals were almost perfect - one of
the best perfeormances vocally I have heard from him. Unique and
creative medleys in WLL's and MONSTROUS drumming from Mr. Bonham.
Jimmy is crisp and inventive...AND LOUD. Jonsey is solid as a rock,
as always.
Great, great shows...I take my hat off to you for offering these up,
Christopher. The history and sheer genius of the performances make it
priceless. I know you all will love it.
