I have to admit that I liked Aerosmith a lot during the late 70's.
But I saw them twice. Once in 78 or 79 and they were so bad it was
pathetic. I saw them again with the altered line-up (Joe Perry gone,
and others??) and it was worse. AC/DC warmed up at one of those shows
(think it was 79) and Aeorsmith was pathetic in comparison. Left a
bad taste in my mouth. Still love Toys in the Attic and Rocks.

Ive always considered Aerosmith a REALLY pale imitation of
Zeppelin.....their
last decent recording in my opinion was Draw the Line...and even that
wasnt
that great.....ever since then nothing but crap...I had the
misfortune of
seeing Aerosmith in January 84 <when they were supposedly on the
wagon>
.....worst concert i ever saw in my life...every tune was so sloppy
you could
barely recognize it, and they played for a whopping 80 minutes or
so......all
this preceded by one of the worst opening acts ive ever seen <some
all girl
heavy metal band> ...it was like Aerosmith picked them up off the
street,
threw instruments in their hands and told them to play lol...ever
since that
nite ive considered Aerosmith Irrelevant.
