Hiya,
The "boot" industry has suffered some major setbacks over the last 18
months. Prior, there were 3 major companies who were assisting our common
quest for more live recordings to placate our universal, insatiable needs.
Two of them went down last fall, and the last just fell a few weeks ago. It
does make finding new and interesting pieces somewhat of a problem to find.
Individual states have taken it upon themselves to chase down and bust those
places selling live recordings. So far Florida, California, New York,
Illinois, & Georgia have become quite agressive. By my understanding of this
circumstance, it seems live recordings are going to go deep underground
again. It's happened before, and I am sure it will take quite some time
before they come back, if at all. In other words, hang on to your beloved
recordings (CD's, Albums, etc.) as they may have to tide you over for a very
long time.
Cheers,
