Thank You everybody that has taken an interest in this
At the risk of being scorned and mocked back in to lurkdom
My contention is that as a complete passage -3:04 to 3:18
what JP plays is more than a generic fill played repeatedly in different
octaves
It may be that I am having a musical false memory
but the entire run sounds like something I've heard somewhere else
That 'somewhere else' may just be from hearing Zep in the 70's!
BTW
Jimmy plays a portion of it during the fade out in Darlene
at about 4:45

also during Moby Dick (almost any version)
there is a small portion of the riff that connects the I - V turn around
Moby Dick from RAH
here at about :52
