Jimmy Page inserted into his playing
 
I'd appreciate it if you would take the time to review this  YouTube clip  
of Led Zeppelin in mid performance circa July  1973 during  a Whole Lotta 
Love in which they would  do an  impromptu smattering of blues and rock riffs 
and licks  and a whole  lotta  whatever...
 
It seems to me that Jimmy is doing something more than quoting Franny  
I could be wrong though
