I didn't even know who John Henry Bonham was when he died and He was
gone a year before I heard my first Led Zep album. I will always be
in debt to my friend Barry who sat me down one day and said "You have
to listen to this" and slapped LZII on the record player. (He knew I
had just recently escaped an incredibly insulated, highly religious
home and was a completel n00b to rock music.)

We went on to have many smoke filled days of Zeppeling. I haven't
seen him in over 22 years but I'll forever remember one of the top 3
periods of my life and thank him for it.
