I've never read anything official about his tweaking, but I've seen lots 
of discussions on the net about the topic, some of them rather heated.

I must ask around the Hoffman forum again, There are some absolutely 
over-the-top Beatles fantatics there. They make FBO's most dedicated LZ 
fans seem like casual onlookers!
