LZ VS STONES

I went to a golf tournament in Orlando today, sponsered by 96.5 our local 
classic rock station here in sunny Orlando.
Won a 4 DVD set, "The Biggest Bang' I threw in the first disc, and ffwd to 
Honkey tonk woman, watched from there, sympathy, brown sugar....so on....
I am amazed. 
I grew up in NY, and in high school, you had the zep crowd, the stones crowd, 
and deadheads. There was always this great argument over who was the better 
band, the stones or zep. and the deadheads didnt care for either. 
I love sticky fingers, ya yas, hot rocks, and I have some old boots, where they 
still jammed.
but I will tell you what, our boys on stage in 07, compared to the stones in 
06? My lord!!! keef is a joke, it was disgraceful, I mean they went all out, 
they had this huge production, but they out and out sucked, I mean Mick was 
still Mick, but Keef played like he has silly putty stuck on his fingers. They 
never jammed or went off, it was just total shit. It was the first time I paid 
attention to them in a few years, ans I was sorely dissapointed. I dont think I 
could sit through all 4 discs! I wish I had the numbers of some of those die 
hards from high school, there is no argument anymore! 

on another note, the new sirius/xm station 33 and 39 respectively, kick ass, I 
have been hearing some interviews, boots, and some covers of zep tunes that I 
have never heard, and I have heard a lot! If you dont subscribe, give it a
