RE: Some LZ Shopping Tips?... And Happy Thanksgiving

Eddie's tips are excellent and I completely concur.
I've been buying vinyl recorded through eBay and other
online auction sites for a year now. Occasionally you
get bad surprises, but most of the time the records
are just as described.

When I say other auction sites, I mean
www.musicstack.com and www.gemm.com. I prefer
musicstack because Gemm has a 15% surcharge in
addition to the prices. In fact, sometimes I've found
LPs on Gemm and then tracked them down on musicstack.
The prices work out to be about the same, but I just
find Musicstack seem to be a bit more seamless and
east to use. The great thing about Musicstack is that
there's no waiting to see if you won a bid. It's as if
everything on eBay were set to Buy It Now. There are a
couple of other similar sites (one from the UK whose
name escapes me comes to mind).

Don't hesitate to check used record stores as well.
I've found some nice Zeppelin vinyl around. For
example, I recently found near mint pressings of II
and HOTH for $5 each.
