Re: Jimmy makes hints...

Last night, I was just rereading Dave Lewis's 2002 interview with JPJ,
which originally appeared in Tight But Loose 16 and is now in his 2003
book "Led Zeppelin, The 'Tight But Loose' Files: Celebration II."
Lewis asks Jonesy, "Are there other artists you would be keen to work
with?" Jonesy replies, "Yes a few - I'd like to have used Robert Fripp
on more of the album [The Thunderthief]. Danny Barnes is another and
Alison Krauss. I'd liked to have her do some fiddle parts on 'Down To
the River To Pray' as she did on the Oh Brother soundtrack."

JPJ and Robert also crossed paths musically in 1993 when they both
played with Lenny Kravitz. Plant's Fate of Nations tour included dates
opening for Lenny, and then JPJ turned up playing bass for Lenny on a
live date at the end of the year.
