Re: Books on Zeppelin (SZC)

You mean "In The Houses of The Holy: Led Zeppelin and The Power of Rock
Music"?

For a book that requires a postgraduate degree in semiotics and assorted
feminist postmodernist claptrap if you want to understand it, that's a hefty
fee. :-P Nine out of ten people who bid on it wouldn't get past the first
chapter if they ending up winning it.

I have an extra copy; obviously I'd best get cracking and list it!

Wonder what my Mylett "In the Light," purchased in 1982 for $18, would
fetch?

One of the more interesting of the 20 or so books on Zep in my collection is
one in French by Alain Dister, the critic who founded "Rock & Folk" in the
mid-60s (kind of the Franco equivalent of Rolling Stone). I've always
wondered whether it has ever been translated. Maybe I should take a month
off from my regular gig and do it. 'Course, I'd have to get a publisher
interested...
