Re: Official announcement to come soon

I'm with chas. Why is that so many think Jason BONHAM isn't capable
of playing his own Dad's rhythm? I think he did perfect at the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame, and he was the only good part of the
"reunion-that-shall-not-be-named." He fills his Dad's shoes
perfectly, IMO.

Besides, if you really want to have a Zeppelin reunion, no one else
can play drums but a Bonham. You can't call it a Zep reunion and say
Page, Plant, Jones, and Gorman/Bryant/Collins. It has to be Page,
Plant, Jones, and Bonham. Period.

Okay, I was KIDDING on the whole name thing (though I do kinda believe
it... I can't call it a true Zep reunion unless a Bonham is the
drummer... sorry), though if you agree, great.

Truthfully, I think Bonham, Gorman, and Bryant come the closest to
Bonzo, but for this reunion, Jason is hands down the best choice,
period. I know many disagree with me, but I'm a huge fan of all of
his work (which means I like Foreigner... so sue me) and I think he
plays his dad's riffs perfectly and can swing and fill like Bonzo just
fine.
