Jimmy Page ripped off Jansch's brilliant Irish lament "Blackwaterside" in its entirety, renaming it "Black Mountain Side" and taking full credit for both music and arrangement on the band's 1969 eponymous debut album. A lawsuit ensued. "But things didn't get anywhere as we ran out of money for it," says the soft-spoken and laconic Jansch, reached at his London, England, home. "These days Jimmy doesn't like to meet me–he can't look me in the eye."
