Re: Zep on WB? The New Concert Files and that FBO cover song thingy

This is exactly what I'm talking about here!!! I do not think the intent of thsi idea was to cull together pro studio recordings done by any of us but rather a simple way of sharing with our friends here, what we have done. Wether it be plinking in our basement studios, a "soundtrak" from a home video like mine's was, or A soundboard of Led Zepagain...it's all just for fun and I myself would love to hear any feedback on my rustic try at it. No need to be embarassed. And I don't think that we would have to worry about Peter Grant's ghost coming down upon us...we're certainly not profitting from it. Just a way to expose ourselves to our peers. snort...he said exposed.....

I would also be interested in hearing songs that for instance that were created by our members based on a Zep inspired riff. I have several...maybe I'll em bare ass myself some more if I find them and take the time to tape>mp3 them. One I outright called "Stolen from Jimmy" where I took a Boston Tea Party intro to Killing Floor and parlaid it into a whole tune. And Jeremy can be witness to this, I have been working on a song titled "I've Been drinking" for well over 3 years now, that was originally inspired by a tune off the original Oh My God Tapes.

So if anyone has an mp3 they'd like to share hell, use yousendit.com (it's free!) to send it over to me. I'd love to hear it all.

FBO Zep cover thingy. I have a recording done very
non professinally with a digital four track recorder
through an external condesor mic of "10 Years Gone". It is a pretty decent recording for what is
essentially an audience recording. It is from a
practice and is okay performance wise but I would be
interested in feedback. I have it in a wave file and
and MP3 but cannot post it anywhere. Just curious.
