I haven't compared it to the 1-10-69 FYL to estimate
how much might be missing, but I certainly think it's
more than just a few seconds. And you can hear the
flutter just before the cut, definitely sounds to me
like tape running out.

I know nothing of the history, but the low level
chatter at the end (it's great that EV left this on
there) might lead someone to believe someone
associated with the band taped it. Here's what I have
deciphered after Plant has said goodnight:
At 6:44 of For Your Love:
"They aren't playing another set, are they?"
"No"
7:20:
"What a ? they're not gonna come back?"
"no, no"
"They're playing Frisco next week"
"I'm tryin' to go up"
"Maybe I will, ha ha"
"What card are you on next week?"
"Pardon"
"You guys gonna be up at the Fillmore next week..."
"yeah"
"... Frisco, with who?"
"Dunno"
"Okay then. Tell Robert to take care."
So it sounds to me like the guy who says "pardon",
"yeah", and "dunno" might be associated with the band,
since the other guy addresses him like he is. So maybe
this was somebody travelling with the band and who
recorded the set on a portable reel deck.
Just a theory.
