I've stayed out of this thread long enough..lol. I was thinking just the
other day...just how much of a success were either of JPJ's "Zooma and
Thunderthief?" I mean I bought them both, and I saw JPJ on the Zooma Tour, yet
I don't
think either were any more successfull as any of Plant's recent releases
either.
You sure as hell don't hear anything from either cd played on the radio! (at
least I haven't heard any, and I even called the station and begged for
something to be played..never happened)
Even with Plant's new tour...All the radio stations are playing (here
anyways) is Zeppelin, or Plant's earlier solo work. Nothing from Dreamland at
all.
They play the other stuff, then mention Plant is playing the Cain's this friday
night.
I'm not up to date with promotional stuff either, but I don't recall alot of
publicity surrounding JPJ's last 2 cd's either.
I'm not playing either artists down, just mentioning that IMO, neither has
had great commercial success recently. Perhaps the best thing to come so far
was
the release of the dvd and live cd, and apparently that was JP's baby!?

Speaking of JPJ's last 2 cd's, I haven't played them on the 7 speaker system
yet...hold on walls, gotta take a few things down, so they don't bounce off
and break!!!!
