Just heard this on the radio news on the way in to work this morning, sorta
funny!
At the end of the news they finished by saying," Apparently the Queen isnt
totally familiar with pop[sic] music. On being introduced to Jimmy Page
[sorry dont know the occasion] she asked, Are you a guitarist too? as if she
was talking to a member of a local scouts choir. Apparently Clapton who was
also there pre-empted this and told her he was the guitarist Eric Clapton .
Have you been playing long asked the Queen, About 40 years maam says EC!
Dont know what the occasion was or Jimmy's reply, if any, but hes sure
getting around the establishment these days!
