Re: was :Robert and Dove

Well, in true Feng Shui style, I put Robert's pic in the left back
quadrant of my desk on the printer. It's the folded back interior of
the collector's edition CD of Manic Nirvana, with him on top with his
hair slicked with entirely too much gel in it until it looks brunette
and stringy, with a group pic with him and the MN lineup below, along
with pics of me playing the same geetar Boyle did circa the same time
before my band had it's teeny flight. There is also a teeny collage
I created with other pics from the MN and FON era in a small frame.

One of those "trying to recreate the same creative atmosphere" sorta
things to get me off my butt and doing more than songwriting and
writing my music advice column again.

For some of us, that is the reason we find RP so inspirational, not
the rock star excess crud, which I forgive him for but would never
emulate. They say the wise learn from the mistakes of others, rather
than make the same mistakes themselves. Prob is, many don't see it
as a mistake. I'm proud of Robert owning up to keeping off the heavy
drugs and really hard sauce for so many years. Now if he would just
cut down the beer, too, he would probably lose that teeny spare tire
he's developed.

:D
