I think 
this is part of the reason why live versions of 
Kashmir sounded somewhat cheesy. The mellotron 
that JPJ used live was a toy compared to today's 
digital technology. 
 
 hey hey hey i love the sound of that cheesey mellotron, beats any synth to me.
