Jeremy,
I agree with you on the Stone Temple Pilots tune-- the
solo did sound like Stairway!

But let us not forget the two ultimate "sounds like
zeppelin" tunes:

Heart's "Barracuda" and...

Billy Squire's "Lonely Is The Night"

There was absolutely no doubt about those two!

So the question I pose to you is when does imitation
become not the sincerest form of flattery but, to
paraphrase the great Peter Grant, just plain old
cashing in on Led Zep?

And yes, our dear sweet Zep boys did some light
flattery of their own.
