Acer is a brand that with the right software will let you make a EXACT
duplicate of a cd, even the copyright protection.You are entitled by law to
make a backup copy of software that you own if you so chose.

Hardware: Can't comment on the Acer CD-RW, but it seems to me they're not
the most respected manufacturer (in general, not just of burners) out
there.
