really stoopid thing....

ok, so i'm sitting here in class, trying to learn the Oracle database 
program,(my 7th hour today, 1 more to go...) learning how to join database 
tables, innerjoin data, call dept. id #'s for employees blah blah blah, on a 
fictional companies database. we've been doing some pretty dry stuff all day 
long, and then the next problem we are given is to join a customer table with a 
sales order table and give back all the sales order numbers and products 
ordered by John Paul Jones. this one definately put a completely different spin 
on the days lessons(FYI, he bought t-shirts and baseball hats,in 1994, and i 
wont boar you with the order #'s.....)


also, regarding WBLM in maine; they used to have a self promotion in which zep 
was playing in the background, and thier promo was something like "100,000 
watts of the greatest band in the world". unfortunately now they seem to like 
to play lots of john melancramp. they still play plenty of zep, but thier 
shining armour got a horrible tarnish when they included him in thier rotation. 
regardless of the occasional earache they send out, still the best station 
hands down in new england.
