Everyone has their own tastes in music and if you don't like U2 thats 
fine by 
me - I happen to like all their stuff up through "Rattle and Hum".  
But if 
people are going to make comments about other bands how about a more 
positive 
thread like "I really like the music of ___...".  I find these 
threads where 
people rip other artists to be rather boring and it often shows how 
restricted other peoples musical tastes can be.  I think the majority 
of 
people on this list have decent taste in music and I would imagine 
that even 
if you don't like a certain type of music you can appreciate the fact 
that 
other people do!  Personally I collect the music of over 100 
different 
artists and I'm always expanding what I listen to.
