All of this talk about Cole's book is a little amusing.  I personally 
read
it and frankly it did not strike me as that extreme.  Whether it is 
all true
or not I don't know.

What I can tell you is I used to know some of the roadies and 
businessmen
that toured with the band and the general statement they all made was,
"everything you ever heard about the band was probably true - they 
were
wild".  I was given a few specific stories too. :)  In short they did 
all
the same thing the other superstar 70's bands did, drugs, group sex, 
etc.
So what....
