Hey, all.
While the requisite Hammer of The Gods/Stairway To Heaven debates are 
always
interesting, obviously the guy
[What drugs was the band into and how can I find out more about them?]
is asking about the drugs, not the band.
Of course, the best way to "find out more about them" is to obtain and
utilize some.  Ask around; you'll find them in the most unexpected 
places.
I wouldn't, however, recommend this with Heroin.  Drink and Toke all 
y' want
. . . drop some acid (but be sure it's acid) . . . chew some 'shrooms 
(you
probably won't vomit) . . . you'll be okay.  But don't mess with the
addictive stuff.
Oh, and don't forget to put a stack of vinyl on the ol' turntable.
You'll get it for sure.
