For me this has to be 1971. They recorded the fourth album in the early
part of the year, and as for live shows

3/5/71 - excellent show in Denmark with the only existing performances of
Gallows Pole and Four Sticks
21&22/8/71 - these LA shows are just as good as the more famous LA shows
from 1970 and 1972 - the sound's a little poorer but if you're at all into
live tapes and you don't have these, you really should.
9/9/71 - listen to the bass on Celebration Day
The 71 Japanese tour - if David Pecnik is still around you may all get a
20K discourse on why 29/9/71 is the best Zep show ever.

Best boot from 71 - probably Going to California.
