Vinod's right -- no way this would happen at DGM.
I think the panty-wadders here are missing something important: Jones has
never disavowed the Zeppelin era, especially not in the way that Plant has.
He's been both amenable and indifferent to Zeppelin retreading, but he's
never said anything to make the use of his symbol hypocritical.

Of course they will. The same nimrods who hated _The Sporting Life_
and...dare I say..._Walking Into Clarksdale_.
On the other hand, Jones has yet to prove to me that he can construct an
excellent solo album. Doesn't mean that he can't, but everything he's done
has either been a collaboration or less-than-stellar (like _Scream For
Help_). One might argue that _ITtOD_ is evidence in his favor, but that
_was_ a long time ago.
But the supporting cast does bode well.

Sean Palmer, apparently. ;-)
Regarding the FAQL: I'm granting permission to use the existing (though
hopelessly out of date) content on a very conditional basis. Basically, I
want to see who's going to do the updating before I grant permission. But
I really do want people to start on this, if they're interested.
If you want my opinion (and no one said they did), I think it would be best
to get a bunch of people who are interested in contributing to sections
together, appoint one person to oversee the process, and go to work. I
have a couple of huge electronic files of things people have sent me over
the years for inclusion, and also a large pile of printouts from previous
exchanges. The electronic stuff is easy to distribute, but the paper stuff
I only want to send to one person (there's a _lot_).
I do have a very small amount of time to do some editing, but I'm more
likely to ask to redo a few of the essays (backmasking, Satanism, etc.)
Anyway, someone take charge of this thing and tell me how and where you
want the files.
