Hi everybody, I recently signed up to be a leaf on a tree. When I was
contacted by the "tree owner" "root" or whatever you call it,he asked me
if I wanted TAPE or CDR. I replyed TAPE because I did not know what CDR
was. So I started to ask around,I got various answers, some said, no you
can,t play a CDR(CDROM) on a conventional CD player. Maybe I should
mention that I don,t have a computer, so I don,t know anything about the
terms and technology of them. I,ve never been around them much. I could
never justify buying a $1400 piece of equipment that will be outdated in
6 months. So I bought WEBTV for $100 (after rebate) and get internet
access and email (all I really wanted anyway). Well, he replyed if your
sure you want TAPE instead of CDR I,ll put you down for it. Well, I went
to my favorite "BOOT" store and asked him about it. And he said that CDR
is a WRITEABLE CD, (recordable). Well that changed my mind about getting
the TAPE version. I previously asked the "tree owner" about this and got
no response. I tryed again , and no response. I,m wondering if with all
the talk about the RIAA (I still don,t know what that stands for and I,m
sure I don,t like what they do) I thought maybe I scared him with all
the stupid questions. And thats why I never got a response. Well let me
tell you that I,m just a guy who likes to go cave exploring,raise and
breed lizards, party, and listen to good music. My email addres has

So please let me know whats going on. And if you are or were to busy to
