I agree with Chris- although I prefer cds.
I don`t know if I have a mysterious magnetic aura coming from my forehead or
what,
but I am hell on tapes! Give me a tape for a couple years and it will degrade
itself. Now that cd-r exists, I have started entering the trading world. One
thing which many Zepheads may not realize (due to the longtime trade network
of Zep tapes) is that for many bands, buying a CD bootleg is the only way to
find a show! ( just try to find someone on the `net who will trade you a Bad
Company show from 1974 or a Backstreet Crawler show from 1975 )
BTW why the prevailing "yuck" response when someone buys a CD bootleg and
discovers its a CD-R?? Other than a lesser time limit--and being slightly
more prone to misuse--they are the same. I know the 10/13/95 P/P show got
dumped on because of the gap between songs, but thats the fault of the
bootlegger
( big surprise ) not the format.
