Hello everybody. I'm gonna for for my "little" project today and
hopefully it will go as planned without too many typos :-)
I will not take on a alphabetical or chronological approach to the
lyrics
but rather a "go by feel" kinda thing. I've chosen the first song
because
it's one of my own favorites and because I just resently corrected a
line
that I would like some feedback on. In the future however I would like
the
people on the list to make suggestions to what song to cover next (NO! I
will not do Trampled Underfoot yet!).If there are several requests
during
one week (as I hope there will be) I will use first-come-first-serve
etiquette. If there are no requests I will pick one myself and if I get
more than 100 "hate mails" during one week I will consider ending the
project. NOT!
Some guidelines before we start:
1.Lines marked with *, **, ***, etc, will be discussed by the author at
the
end of the song.
2.Alternative lines offered by other people than me will be inside
parentheses
() below the line I have suggested. If there are several alternative
lines
they will be put beneath each other.
3.Words I'm unsure of will be put inside parentheses () in the line.
4.Words I have *no* idea what are will be replaced with ????? or there
will be
a word inside a parenthesis marked with *, e.g. *(suck it!). This will
be a
word offered by other people that I "believe" to be inaccurate, and I
will
try to explain why at the end of the song.
5.I will try to include Roberts screams and "oooh/aaah" sounds if
possible, but
they will certainly not be accurate.
If you have a request feel free to email me with the song. If you want
to add
some "guidelines" that can also be directed to me. If you have a
suggestion to
a line/word in the song of the week (sorry 'bout that Jeff L. :-) please
post
it to the list and not me. That's what it's there for, to be discussed
openly
and not between me and someone else.
I have talked too much....it's time to bring it on home.
I hope you enjoy it.
Have Fun, Rock On!

PS: I will post this weeks lyrics in a seperate post. DO NOT look for
them below
this line! ;-)
