RE: Pure Blues fanzine

>6. Anyone have any info on the origin/editor of Pure Blues fanzine?

Hi Bill! How's it hangin'??

The editor of PB was one Claudia Chapman, who lived in rural Connecticut
and produced what was legitimately the very first Zep fanzine - and still
one of the best. She was a decent writer, really knew her shit, and had
access to some great collectibles and hardcore collectors of the time such
as Bill Bratton and Brian Knapp.

I corresponded with her regularly once Proximity got going, and we traded
some Zep and Nick Lowe/Dave Edmunds tapes - she was also a huge Rockpile
fan. Sadly, she quit publishing and dropped out of sight right around the
time Zep split, reportedly due to her young child contracting some serious,
life threatening illness. I lost touch with her but wonder how she's doing
periodically, she was a very cool person & provided a lot of inspiration to
the birth of Proximity.
