Badgeholders-
Well I guess that I can finally come out of lurkdom on this
list since my fellow Zeppelinear Garth Cramer wrote in interesting post on
Zepfest 96'. I had completely forgot that we video taped the convention. I
threw the tape in the ole' VCR last night and watched all of it. There is
like 3 hours of just us in the elevator. As Garth mentioned Mr. Grant
Burgess provided some priceless moments for the camera. If anyone who was
there remembers us I was the one in the white t-shirt doing a lot of talking
and Garth was the one with the camera and also doing a lot of talking. I
remember that like ten people took snapshots of us in the elevator. It
would be great to here from anyone who was there. I can't believe it was
already a year ago. That weekend was one of the greatest Zeppelin moments
in my life, too bad I missed the Niagra Zepfest due to some badly placed
exams. I can't wait for the next one.
I would just like to make a quick comment on the song Hot Dog. I
think its a greatly under appreciated song about the great state of *Texas*.
It was Zeppelin at its best, doing what they wanted and not caring what
other people thought.
Thanks for your time, its been a real pleasure.
