I found that Black Zeppelin thread very interesting, so I ran this by Rob
Godwin.  Here is his interesting reply:

Hi Bruce,
Interesting story. I was negotiating with a manager last year for a book.
We'll leave his name out of it for now, but anyway one of the people this
guy represented was Bill Ward of Black Sabbath and we talked about a Black
Sabbath book. During the course of the conversation this guy mentioned that
when he had been at Ward's house he noticed a tape which said Black Zeppelin
on it. When he asked Bill what it was he said it was just a jam session that
took place when Plant and Bonham showed up at a Sabbath recording session.
He says it is hilarious with Plant singing Sabbath songs and Ozzy singing
Zep songs.

Is this true??

Well the guy relating this story was definitely Ward's manager and he had no
real reason to make the story up. However he did say that he never heard the
tape, so who knows??
