Vocals - Steve Marriot
Bass - John Paul Jones
Drums - Charlie Watts
Guitar - Duane Allman
Piano - Nicky Hopkins
Probably my choice of an ex-Zepster seems surprising, but really, I think
this would be that ultimate rock 'n' boogie band. Can you even imagine the
rock solid groove this band would have? They could jam until sunrise,
Duane, JPJ, and Charlie improvising mad riffs and killer rhythms all night.
:-) Steve's voice...well, he was one of Jimmy's first choices as lead
singer for Zeppelin, so need I say more? The harmonies he and Duane could
produce would be pretty sweet too. What a great band this would have been!
I think they would have had a chemistry that would go far beyond being
simply an all-star band.
If I were to just pick who I think are the *best* as band members, it'd
look like this:
Vocals - Chris Robinson
Guitar - Jimi Hendrix
Drums - John Bonham
Bass - Flea
Interesting mix eh?
