Okay--who can help me out here?  Somewhere in all the interviews I have
read, listened to, or seen on video in the past three years, there is one in
which it is claimed that Robert and Jimmy see both the taping section and
the contributions to Greenpeace and Second Harvest as karmic payback for
earlier mistakes.

Can anyone else remember where this statement appears?  I have a hazy
recollection that it is an indirect quote, which means it appeared in print
somewhere and is someone else's interpretation of something either Jimmy or
Robert said.

BTW, another explanation, Jeremy, is that Led Zeppelin in the first half of
your first question is not the same as "they" in the second half.  How often
have Page and Plant said they are _not_ Led Zeppelin?  And if so, why should
they not have different policies toward taping and boots?  Jean
