Zep Fest is THE place to be if you are a Led Zeppelin fan! Once again, the organizer of Zep Fest '96 and Zep Fest '97 - Grant Burgess, publisher of Canada's Led Zeppelin Fanzine The Only One is heading up the event. Check out the fun we had last year! This year's Zep Fest will include tickets to see Jimmy Page and Robert Plant in concert! This year the Fest is in Cleveland, Ohio, home of:

Renaissance Cleveland Hotel , 24 Public Square , Cleveland, OH - (216) 696-5600 - This hotel has a covered walkway to Gund Arena. A block of rooms with a special group rate (starting at $ 109 per night) will be reserved - mention that you are a Led Zeppelin Convention Attendee. Call after April 18th for reservations at these reduced rates. Hotel reservations must be booked no later than June 2,1998. Rooms at this rate are on a first come first serve basis and a block of 100 rooms has been set aside for the convention.

Thurs July 2 - 8:00 PM: Live Tribute Band, Video Screenings and Party - all at the Odeon Concert Club and Bar.

Friday July 3 - 11 AM: Zep Fest '98 Convention at the Odeon. The convention will run until at least 4:00 PM, if the club has no other act scheduled that night, it will run until 6:00 PM. Dealers from across North America will be selling Led Zeppelin Collectibles and Memorabilia. Merchandise available for sale will include items such as books, programs, t-shirts, promo items, foreign pressings of the Zep catalog of CD's and LP's and singles. Other activities such as video screenings, lots of memorabilia displays, and other surprises are scheduled to happen as well. You never know who might walk in!

Friday July 3 - 8:00 PM: Page/Plant concert at the Gund Arena - The tickets for the show will be in the best 1/3 of the seats in the building.

Your options: a) Buy tickets for just Zep Fest '98 or b) a ticket package for BOTH Zep Fest '98 and the Cleveland Page/Plant Concert. The ticket price for the convention is $18, and $53 for the Page/Plant concert ($71 for each set of tickets), plus any handling fees (see below). The tickets for the P/P concert will be distributed at the Odeon when you arrive at the Zep Fest convention. Concert tickets are going FAST and are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Thursday July 1: A bus trip from Downtown Cleveland to the Pittsburgh Page/Plant show has been organized. The Price is $95 (US Money Orders Only) and includes Gold Circle P/P tickets and bus transportation to and from the Comfort Inn on 1800 Euclid Ave, Cleveland (the Renaissance is sold out this night). The bus leaves Cleveland at 4pm, returning back to the Comfort Inn later that night. The Comfort Inn has group rates available at $69 per room that night. Saturday July 4: Welcome to Canada!! For those of you who want to see yet another Page/Plant show, Grant Burgess will be running a bus excursion from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to the Page/Plant concert in Toronto (about an hour bus ride). It will be everyone's own responsibility to get their own transportation to Hamilton. The drive from Cleveland to Hamilton is about 4 and 1/2 hours. The price for this is $85 US Funds or $125 Canadian Funds, and includes your concert ticket and bus transportation to and from the concert. The concert is to start around 7:30 PM with the bus leaving from the Sheraton Hotel Hamilton (116 King St. W. Hamilton, ON L8P 4V3, Canada, Phone (905) 529-5515) in downtown Hamilton at 5:30 PM. There is a block of rooms reserved for this event with group rates of $99 (Can) and $72 (US). Concert tickets are not sold without a bus package.
