Zepfest 2004 is a social gathering for Led Zeppelin fans from all over North America. In past Zepfests we've had fans from coast-to-coast, along with several out-of country. Zepfest is more than just a sale of Led Zeppelin related merchandise such as books, t-shirts, magazines, fan magazines, souvenirs, CD's, LP's, etc . Also part of the event will be live tribute bands, an informal afternoon jam session, various fund raising activities to assist the Action For Brazil's Children Charity, and of course it is a chance for fans from all over to get together and socialize.
In the past Zepfests were held in Cleveland 1996, 1998, 2000, Niagara Falls 1997 & 2003, and Toronto 1999 & 2003.
The weekend of August 26-28 will be the next Zepfest weekend in Toronto! As many of you have already heard, there will be fund raising activities for ABC in Toronto on August 26 & 28. To help fill in the gaps for that weekend a Zepfest event is being added. Here's a rundown as to what is happening in Toronto that weekend:
August 26: ClassicAlbumsLive.com will be doing a live presentation of the Physical Graffitti album. This will take place at the Pheonix in Toronto. The Classic Albums Live show is a performance "note for note" of Physical Graffitti. Attendence for the Classic Albums Live performances typically draw from 900-1,000 people.
August 27: Zepfest
begins at the Comfort Suites hotel. This will be a pre convention party. Details
pertaining to the activities are to be announced
soon.
August 28: Daytime
Zepfest will be taking place at Healey's in Toronto. This will be the main
convention event where
merchandise will be bought and sold, etc.
August 28 Evening. Zeppelinesque will be performing at Healeys!
