I almost bought into a ticket broker company about a year ago. What happens is
that there are certain amounts of tickets that get bought up in bulk by these
huge ticket brokerage firms, they obviously have the in with venues or even the
promoters themselves. But all these litte lcompanies you see on the internet
are
all drawing from the same pools. you will see on ticket liquidator row c seats
5&6, and see the same seats on ticket genie, Once one company sells the tickets
they are taken off the other companies sites.
Some arent really that bad, a lot of placeshave a bit of room, I Paid $85 each
and saw BOJ from the 4th row dead center I think it was.. You just have to look
hard enough.
I saw Clapton at amway arena from the floor about 15 rows back for a hunskie
the
same way, and got those tix the day of the show!

I had a similar experience in trying to buy tickets for the D.C. Band of Joy
concert. Had pre-sale code, on the broadband internet connection 15 minutes
before the pre-sale started. Kept trying and refreshing screen starting at
5 minutes prior to when the sale opened (had an early open happen before).
When the presale opened, the closest tickets I could find were in the
balcony. Then I read that not all seats are released for presale so I
decided to wait for the general sale to open. That was a mistake! The best
I could find were far back in the balcony. Yet, immediately great seats
could be bought on the ticket resale sites! What gives? I waited until the
presale at a later venue, Upper Darby, PA, and purchased the best tickets I
could find as soon as the presale opened, still in the balcony, but front
row, but way off to the left...
Oh well...
