Hi Pam,Sounds like I was in pretty much the same situation as you. Did you also receive a letter with the brochure and disount offer, with the mention "as soon as we speak to our binders in the first week of January, we will be in touch with an exact ship date"? Apparently they sent that out to everyone who had yet to receive a book around mid-December, even if their book was in fact about to ship. I got that letter, yet my book was shipped on Jan 6 and arrived yesterday, Jan 10, with no further correspondence from them.
My number is 751. If your "true" number (sequential by ordering priority, not your choice of number) was close to that (judging by the time you ordered, I'd say it must be), you should be expecting your book any time now.
Another tidbit of info from the packaging: the waybill was clearly marked "DO NOT LEAVE WITH A NEIGHBOUR; MUST BE DELIVERED DIRECTLY." So they are obviously sensitive to some of the reactions from early receivers who had concerns about that.
I also ordered on April 9 just a little after midnight Eastern Time. I was told by David at Genesis that I would receive my book before Christmas, then that it would ship before Christmas and I would be informed if that changed. When that didn't happen and I questioned when I should expect the book, Iwas given the "brochure and discount of future book" info.Still no book number 526 here in Maryland. (I saw Zeppelin on 5/26/77 andbook 1977 was already claimed)
