That's great!
It goes without saying I suppose that the gloves should be clean. And 
yes we also use vinyl or rubber gloves. Cotton slips a bit too much, but 
my colleague uses them for art work.

Those who have only one use in their minds for rubber gloves would be 
surprised how many things you can do with them. But that is actually 
much worse than what you are thinking off so I'll refrain. :)
