Have a go at it FBO-ers...I'm tempted to snatch it up, but am saving my
cash money for something else I have in my sights. Then I'll send it to
Paul to fix for me!
in the meantime....

Up for auction is a replica of the "The Object", which was used to
promote the release of Led Zeppelin's "Presence" Lp back in 1976. This
Object is very slightly different in size, weight, and texture from
the reproductions sold in the 1980's and 1990's, and is easily
distinguishable from originals and those earlier reproductions.
However, when displayed, this is a cool eye-catching piece that every
Zeppelin fan will recognize! The original 1,000 objects that were
created, sell for anywhere from $600 to $1,000,(some replicas are
fetching $250 or more). PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKE IN BIDDING!
THIS ITEM IS NOT AN ORIGINAL NUMBERED PROMOTIONAL PIECE, BUT A
REPLICA! The size and weight are almost identical of that of the
original. This piece is engraved with the limited edition #207/ 1,000.
The winning bidder will pay $15.00 for U.S. Mail's Priority service.
If you have any questions, please ask. Overseas bidders are always
welcome. This reproduction has some minor flaws but is in overall
fantastic condition. Flaws that are very minor and hard to describe,
some tiny pits that are on the surface of the statue.
Presence is the seventh studio album by English

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_music> band Led Zeppelin
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin>, released by Swan Song
Records <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_Song_Records> on March 31
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_31>, 1976
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_in_music>. Both Page and Plant had
planned this album's recording session as a return to hard rock, much
like their debut album, except at a new level of complexity. The cover
and inside sleeve of this album, created by Hipgnosis
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hipgnosis>, features various images of
people interacting with a black obelisk
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obelisk>-shaped object. Inside the album
sleeve, the item is referred to simply as "The Object". It was
intended to represent the "force and presence" of Led Zeppelin. In the
liner notes of the Led Zeppelin Remasters
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin_Remasters>, Jimmy Page
explained:
"There was no working title for the album. The record-jacket designer
said `When I think of the group, I always think of power and force.
There's a definite presence there.' That was it. He wanted to call it
`Obelisk'. To me, it was more important what was behind the obelisk..."
