So because Zeppelin chose to sell out to Cadillac it's OK because lots
of songs mention Caddilacs? Sorry, but that's just stupid. You say
pick up a real guitar if you want to play Zeppelin? I don't have the
time, money, talent, etc to be able to master a Zep song. I wish I
could, but it's never going to happen. I think people who rip these
games, Pagey included, are very short sighted. How many of us picked
up a tennis raquet as a kid pretending it was a guitar to "jam" along
with Whole Lotta Love? The only difference is the technology.

Man, when I saw the Beatles' avatars this week a little piece of me
died. Jimmy is right about this... these are beloved human beings
and artists, and music that means something, not cheesy characters in
video games meant for a few mintues of wanking. You want to play
Zeppelin, buy a guitar or drum kit and do it right.

As for the Cadillac thing, I think it was about it being Cadillac, a
car that has been featured in many a rock song. A quick Google
search shows about 1,000 songs with Cadillac in the title. Johnny
Cash, Bruce Springsteen, and many others sing about this particular
car, which is known for it's luxury and big back seats... so if it's
a sell out, it's at least a classy sell out.

Now the coke and JC Penney commericals, eh, not so much...
