I remember how a week or so after the event, the whole of Europe declared a minute of silence at noon, and it was followed everywhere. I certainly will not forget that day, the whole world was in shock really. But I also learned about the power of internet that day. The news circulating, short-circuiting the official new channels, but also the messages from all around the world. It's really a global village.
