As of yesterday, I've now watched "It Might Get Loud" three times.
(Has anybody in FBO seen it more than I have?)
This time, I paid particular attention to the music in the opening
credits, and it's "Embryo No. 1." On FBO, I had previously questioned
whether it was even in the film because I didn't notice it either of
the first two times. Well, it's definitely there. I hadn't seen this
confirmed on FBO yet, so I'm doing so now. It's a piece played in drop
D tuning.
And if you want to hear what it sounds like, now you also know to
listen for it in the trailer between seconds 25 and 53. Which means
it's the clip of "Embryo No. 2" in the trailer is no longer than your
typical Them Crooked Vultures snippet. You can view the trailer at
LedZeppelinNews.com for instance.
Here's something else of note. At Net Aid, Jimmy played "Domino" in
the key of A. In the film, he plays the same piece, since retitled
"Embryo No. 2," in the key of B. Nice tweak.
